Concrete pool construction is the most common method in use today. It allows swimming pools to be built to any type of shape, size and height.

In all cases, a DESIGN produced by an engineer is required, highlighting the thickness, reinforcement, and dimensions.

This type of pool requires an underground equipment room. The compensation tank is replaced by a modified cascade channel, which therefore performs two functions:
overflow cascade channel, and compensation tank.
The equipment room must have safe and easy access as frequent access will be necessary while the pool is in use.

This pool features a larger cascade channel (defined by the volume of the pool) that, according to the location's requirements, usually extends around a single edge, creating the "Infinity" effect.
It is still possible to produce an Infinity effect along other edges and direct the water into the compensation tank.

The water flows directly into what is, in effect, an open-air compensation tank. From here, the water flows through the filtering system and is fed back into the pool through the inlets.

Ideal for pools with limited space for a compensation tank, installed on sloping land with the Infinity effect along the downhill edge.
The Infinity design means dirt (insects and leaves) does not remain on the surface, but is immediately shifted to the cascade edge, leaving the water a perfect mirror surface.

This type of pool supports the widest choice of lining:

• PVC lining
• Tiles
• Mosaics
• Stone, slates, or similar
• Plasters or sealing slurries

For the overflow:

• Travertine, ceramic, or stone edging
